Merry Christmas

It's probably a little late for a Xmas blog in Britain but anyone in America and that way it might just about be fit for. Anyway Merry Christmas to everyone.

Ok day for me, i have just been relaxing all day(all you can do after Xmas dinner) and watching movies. Have picked up the bass for the first time in a while, that put a big smile on my brothers' face as we've been as loud as we could be for about 2 hours.

The food has been great as always and on time which was nice. Am now looking forward to cycling it all off again at the end of the week. The snow also didn't happen like I'd hoped even though it's cold enough for it. Other than no snow it's been an ok day.

As far as Christmas more so than new year's means to me. It's a time to look back and see how much i've achieved over the year. Not much. The real important achievement is the state of mind that i can now appreciate as healthier and happier one. You can't achieve this on your own. So i'd like to say thanks to everyone who's helped me get this far, i had a lot of doubt that i could ever have felt happy after the last couple of years.

Thanks everyone, and i big Xmas cheer from me!

I agree that it's good to look back and see what you've achieved over the year, but only as a way of making next year better.

If something didn't work out, perhaps try it a different way. Or you might decide that it wasn't as important as you thought at the time, in which case you could switch to something else.

Anyway, make the most of this time of year, and have a great time on your bike!

Thanks for all your support Chris - it means an enourmous amount. Really looking forward to next year, excited with the prospect of what may come.

hya,

no thanx nessesary its been an honour and a pleasure to meet such a top geezer!

the thing is, i kinda know where ya comin from, christmas is not my fav time to say the least, without goin into it and stuff, it just ain't the best time 4 me. but with time wounds heal and bad times take a back seat, cuz sometimes if ya don't think about it ya find yourself in situations ya didn't put much thought n effort into but they just creep up on ya n ya having a great time, and the even better thing is then ya have happpy times to look back on & look 4ward 2 instead!

& as far as acheivements go, well its all relitive ain't it!? something that comes easily to 1 person is like climbing evorest to another, i think the key is, not to feel a sense of achievement by comparin yourself to wot others av dun or what you think you should of done but instead think of where ya were and where ya are now n you'll prob find you've come a long way!

merry christmas

Hi Chris - I'm glad to hear Christmas had so many positives for you - I particularly identify with playing music loud. I'm glad you feel happier and healthier, and here's to an even happier and healthier new year
..... Txxx
